Abstract
We report the case of a 77 year old with Staphylococcus lugdunensis endocarditis following cardiac catheterisation via a femoral approach. We underline the association between this pathogen and inguinal skin breaks, and discuss the potential diagnostic pitfalls in clinical and laboratory diagnosis.Entities:
