Abstract
Regrowth of an intracranial aneurysm is a known complication of endovascular coiling. We report a patient with a traumatic pericallosal aneurysm which was initially treated successfully with endovascular coiling. Six-month follow-up angiography showed aneurysm regrowth with migration of the coils. To our knowledge, recurrence of a coiled pericallosal aneurysm of traumatic etiology has not been previously reported. Endovascular coiling may not be the best primary treatment for traumatic pericallosal artery aneurysms.Entities:
