Abstract
The occurrence of an arteritis in the brains of a number of pigs from one herd is described. This arteritis was characterized by a primary subintimal fibrinoid necrosis, resulting in the narrowing or obliteration of the vessel lumen with consequent malacia and cavitation. No evidence as to the etiology of the condition was obtained.Entities:
