Abstract
Carotenodermia occurs in individuals in a college-aged population who exhibit signs of anorexia and/or bulimia nervosa. It is caused by consuming large amounts of raw carrots. In the same population, athletes are at risk for hypervitaminosis A because of injudicious self-administration of high-potency vitamin preparations.Entities:
