[Michał Lityński--a forgotten author of the first description on primary hyperaldosteronism].

Abstract

Primary hyperaldosteronism (Conn's syndrome) was described for the first time by the Polish internist Michał Lityński (1906-1989) in 1953. Jerome W. Conn's (1907-1994) report on the disease appeared in 1955.
