Abstract
Discoid lupus erythematosus (DLE) is a chronic, scarring, photosensitive autoimmune dermatosis that usually occurs in sun-exposed areas. While the face, chest, and extremities are often affected, involvement of the eyelid is rare. In cases of DLE lesions that are resistant to local or systemic recommended therapies, contact cryotherapy should be considered as an alternative treatment option.Entities:
