Abstract
In this review, the history of the concept of the body image in neuropsychiatry is presented. Links between the parietal cortex and the body image are discussed and the possible role of the parietal lobe in psychiatric disorders noted. The link between parietal lobe function and some neurophilosophical concepts are introduced.Entities:
