Abstract
The chloroform extract of Leucas lavandulaefolia at an oral dose of 200 mg/kg and 400 mg/kg exhibited a significant protection on D(+)galactosamine induced liver damage in rats. Silymarin (25 mg/kg), a known hepatoprotective drug used as a standard also exhibited a significant activity.Entities:
