Abstract
We report on a patient with AIDS stage C3, who received haemodialysis for terminal renal insufficiency and presented with Kaposi sarcoma-like skin lesions on the left hand, distal of his dialysis shunt. Histology, immunohistochemistry and PCR analysis did not support the initially favoured diagnosis of a Kaposi sarcoma, but revealed a pseudo-Kaposi sarcoma related to the Stewart-Bluefarb-syndrome.Entities:
