Abstract
Affinity of viral antibodies matures slowly after primary virus infections. Recent investigations with human sera and mouse monoclonal antibodies have provided the first evidence for a role of antibody affinity in the pathogenesis of chronic virus infections. More detailed studies are necessary before the rules and exceptions of this phenomenon are revealed.Entities:
