[Perforation of the small intestine caused by metastasis from primary lung cancer: report of two cases and the discussion of 48 cases published in the Japanese literature].

Case 1 was a 62-year-old man who had performance status (PS) of 1 and stage IIIB adenocarcinoma of the lung. Because he showed progressive disease after induction chemoradiotherapy, he started to receive best supportive care alone. Three months after initial diagnosis, he complained of abdominal pain.
