Abstract
The authors report here a case of antral hemorrhagic gastritis without ulceration nor erosion, but with intravascular coagulation within the chorionic layer, which had a prolonged course in a patient with non-alcoholic cirrhosis, and which continued in spite of surgical cure of portal hypertension. The authors discuss various theories which might explain this hemorrhage and the development of localised intravascular coagulation, together with its relationship with the cirrhosis.Entities:
