Abstract
Although there is accepted criteria for migrainous infarction, the pathophysiology of this disease process remains poorly defined. Delineation of MRI characteristics of migrainous infarction may improve our understanding of the pathophysiology, diagnosis, and prognosis of this disorder. We present a case of a migrainous infarction that involved apparent laminar necrosis of a "cortical ribbon" of the right temporal, parietal, and occipital lobes.Entities:
