New approach to septal ablation: glue (cyanoacrylate) septal ablation.

Ali Oto1, Kudret Aytemir, Ali Deniz.

Abstract

Alcohol septal ablation is an alternative way of treatment in hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy patients who are refractory to medical treatment. This case report describes a new way of septal ablation with glue (cyanoacrylate) in a HOCM patient who has extensive collateral to posterior descending coronary artery which precludes alcohol ablation.
