Abstract
Gastrointestinal endoscopy has revolutionized the management of many gastrointestinal and pancreatobiliary diseases and is now an integral part of the evaluation and treatment of gastrointestinal diseases in children and adolescents. Over the past several years, many new technological and therapeutic advances have been made in the field. These new technologies and therapies are often initially applied to adult patients and gradually adapted to children. This review focuses on recent advances and new technologies in adult endoscopy and discusses their adaptability to pediatric patients and the limitations to their adaptation.Entities:
