Abstract
The effects of interleukin-1beta at low, subpyrogenic doses on behavior were studied in rats. Signs of increased anxiety were evident by day 5 of treatment courses. These results provide evidence supporting the role of proinflammatory cytokines in the pathogenesis of emotional disorders.Entities:
