Abstract
General anesthesia and anaphylaxis cause profound physiologic changes. When both occur simultaneously, it is often difficult to recognize and identify the medication or product responsible for the latter. Following such an event, the proper assessment, diagnosis, and recommendations are essential to prevent future reactions.
