Abstract
Myasthenia gravis is an acquired immune-mediated neuromuscular disorder, characterised by muscle weakness and fatigabillity of the voluntary muscles. It often affects women in the second and third decade of life with predilection of childbearing years (incidence in pregnancy--1:20,000). We present a case of a pregnant woman with myasthenia gravis and review the literature upon the problem - association of myasthenia gravis and pregnancy.Entities:
