Abstract
In this paper, a rapid method based on high-performance liquid chromatography/electrospray-mass spectrometry (HPLC/ESI-MS) method for the quantitative determination of andrographolide (AND) in human plasma has been developed and validated. A liquid-liquid extraction (LLE) procedure was selected to isolate AND from biological matrixes. Isosorbide-5-mononitrate (IS-5-MN) was selected as the internal standard (IS). The correlation coefficient of the calibration curve was 0.998, in the range of 9.9-320.0 ng/mL. The validated method may be used to assess the bioavailability and pharmacokinetics of the drug.Entities:
