Abstract
I present my experience with calf augmentation surgery for improvement of the contour of so-called "thin legs" due to hypotrophy of the gastrocnemius muscles and the local skin covering. A special type of silicone-gel prosthesis is placed between the muscle and its fascia. The space is created by a specific instrument I developed to perform the dissection. The introduction of the prosthesis is done through a 3-cm transverse skin incision on the popliteal line.Entities:
