Abstract
We report a case of a 79-y-old male with enterococcal endocarditis presenting with dysphagia and weight loss. The patient's longstanding underlying bacteremia was thought to have caused pro-inflammatory changes leading to alterations in the neuronal environment affecting peripheral nerve function. Dysphagia improved once antibiotic treatment was initiated.Entities:
