Abstract
Arteritis and mycotic aneurysms have been well described for more than 100 years. The authors report a case of bacterial arteritis that presented with pneumatosis of the aortic wall and that evolved over 1 week into an infected abdominal aortic aneurysm. This case documents the rapid progression from arteritis to mycotic aneurysm, highlighting the need for close radiologic follow-up and aggressive medical and surgical management.Entities:
