Abstract
Abamectin is a potent antihelmintic, insecticide, and miticide used to control pests of humans, veterinary animals, and crops. The toxic effects of abamectin are usually seen after oral ingestions. These are altered mental status, respiratory failure, and hypotension. We report a case of acute abamectin intoxication who presented with altered mental status to the emergency department after oral ingestion.Entities:
