Abstract
We report the unexpected adjustment of a Strata shunt valve by a vagus nerve stimulator-activating magnet, resulting in symptomatic under-drainage of CSF. Implantable devices using magnets for calibration and activation are becoming more prevalent within neurosurgery and the present case highlights the potential for adverse interactions.Entities:
