Abstract
A 73-year-old man, who was admitted to our hospital with idiopathic ventricular tachycardia, underwent radiofrequency catheter ablation(RFCA) without any immediate signs of complications. He complained of sudden onset of chest pain shortly after the RFCA procedure. The diagnosis of PCIS was supported by slight fever, pericardial effusion, bilateral pleural effusion and elevated inflammatory markers. One should be aware of PCIS since there will be increasing performance of RFCA procedures and patients may present with this previously rare postoperative complications.Entities:
