Abstract
The clinical value of endosonography (EUS) in the gastrointestinal (GI) tract is currently increasing and supported by new imaging techniques. Conventional EUS combined with contrast application or elastography might further refine the diagnostic yield for GI cancers. The present review discusses current standards of EUS and endosonographically guided therapy and discusses newly available imaging modalities.Entities:
