Abstract
We present two cases of Down syndrome with inoperable esophageal cancer at a relatively young age. The first patient had a locally advanced squamous cell carcinoma of the distal esophagus. The second had a short circular adenocarcinoma of the distal esophagus with peritoneal and liver metastases. The cases are discussed with regard to the current literature on Down syndrome and esophageal cancer.Entities:
