Abstract
Vascular anomalies are an uncommon cause of gastrointestinal bleeding. Imaging plays an important role in the diagnosis and therapy of these anomalies. Accurate diagnosis, classification and awareness of associated syndromes are mandatory for applying the appropriate management. In this pictorial essay we review the classification, imaging characteristics and treatment of gastrointestinal vascular anomalies.Entities:
