Abstract
The presentation of Ebstein's anomaly (ventricular displacement of the tricuspid valve, especially septal and posterior leaflets) in the neonatal period is distinguished from that in later life by a much higher mortality, due in part to the pre-existing elevation in pulmonary vascular resistance. Surgery in the neonatal period has previously focused on palliation and conversion to single-ventricle physiology. Successful two-ventricle repair with good clinical results can safely be performed in the neonatal period.Entities:
