Rhinosporidiosis in a dog.

Abstract

A dog with a nasal papilloma due to Rhinosporidium seeberi is presented. The causative organism was found using cytopathology and histopathology. The young Doberman dog had never travelled out of the province of Ontario and is the first case of rhinosporidiosis reported in Canada.
