Cholecystolithiasis and cholecystectomy in a dog.

E A Prowse.

Abstract

An eight year old mixed terrier bitch was presented for examination because of apparent recurrent episodes of acute abdominal pain. Though of short duration, these episodes had been occurring for about two months. Radiographs were taken and two cholecystoliths were observed. Cholecystectomy resulted in resolution of the abdominal pain.
