Abstract
Trichomonas infections of the abdominal cavity are uncommon and case histories have not been published previously. A patient to whom reference is made this paper developed a combined immunodeficiency syndrome and portal hypertension with ascites on the basis of a cirrhosis of the liver. This seems to have been the precondition for a peritonitis caused by a Trichomonas species.Entities:
