Abstract

Six aporphine alkaloids glaucine, boldine, norboldine, isoboldine, norcorydine and laurotetanine have been isolated from the ethanolic extract of the stems of LITSEA WIGHTIANA in which spasmolytic, hypothermic and blood pressure lowering activities have been confirmed.
