Abstract
Extracts of the root of Pentalinon andrieuxii, vernacular name of "contrahierva" (solen ak' in Mayan language, were investigated for their lethal effect on the protozoa Leishmania mexicana. The hexanes extract was highly effective to delay and eventually stop parasite survival.Entities:
