Abstract
The implementation of a serum P less than 5.0 ng/mL is important because it resolves the differential diagnosis of EP by enabling timely uterine curettage. Curettage with examination of curettings or documentation of falling hCG can be used to prevent unnecessary laparoscopies in patients undergoing spontaneous abortions and can make possible definitive diagnosis and medical treatment of EP completely eschewing anesthesia and surgery.Entities:
