Abstract
Giant Cell Tumors are rare tumors in the young adult and localisation in the hand is even more exceptional. In the absence of adjuvant treatment, the literature reports a strong potential for local recurrence of between 75 and 86%. These tumours also have a risk of sarcomatosis degeneration and pulmonary metastasis. The case report concerns a 24-year-old patient, with a Giant Cell Tumour of the capitate initially diagnosed on simple curettage, and we describe her treatment together with the treatment of a subsequent reccurrence. A literature review will also highlight the current knowledge of this disease.Entities:
