Set-up and evaluation of interlaboratory studies.

Yvan Vander Heyden1, Johanna Smeyers-Verbeke.

Abstract

Interlaboratory comparison by means of method performance precision and bias studies and proficiency testing schemes are described. The set-up of the experiments as well as the evaluation of the data by means of graphical and statistical methods are considered. The use of interlaboratory data for the estimation of measurement uncertainty is also addressed.
