Abstract
Coronal fracture of the body of the hamate with associated dorsal subluxation of the bases of the fourth and fifth metacarpals is rare. Two cases of this injury with and without disruption of the dorsal carpometacarpal ligaments treated with open reduction and internal fixation are reported. Oblique roentgenographic views with the hand pronated 30 degrees from the true lateral were helpful in the assessment of the fracture.Mesh:
