Abstract
A case of an individual who died as a result of a self-inflicted circular saw injury to the head is presented. Death appeared to result from massive haemorrhage from injury to the superior sagittal sinus. The described mechanism of injury appears to be very unusual and may have reflected underlying issues. In particular, potential background factors resulting in the self-infliction of an injury to the head are discussed.Entities:
