Abstract
We describe a case with perirenal retained sponge presenting as renal tumor who had undergone surgery for urolithiasis 38 years ago. After remaining silent so many years, it was incidentally diagnosed during operation. We suggest further investigation in patients with renal masses and history of retroperitoneal surgery to avoid unnecessary nephrectomy.Entities:
