Abstract
The authors investigated neuropsychiatric features in 36 pathologically confirmed cases of corticobasal syndrome. Depression, compulsive behavior, and frontal lobe-type behavioral alterations were noted in eight patients (22%). No patient experienced visual hallucinations. If confirmed by a prospective study, the absence of visual hallucinations may help to distinguish corticobasal syndrome from other parkinsonian syndromes.Entities:
