Abstract
Meniscal transplantation for the symptomatic postmeniscectomized knee has become an accepted procedure. Successful outcomes depend on patient selection and having a stable, nonarthritic, well-aligned knee, in addition to the technical aspects. In achieving limb preventing overload of the transplanted meniscal tissue, osteotomy around the knee has become an essential component of the surgical procedure. This paper reviews the indications, evaluation, planning, technique, and results for meniscal transplantation combined with osteotomy.Entities:
