Abstract
Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS) is an autoimmune disease affecting the peripheral nerves, and is frequently associated with triggering events several weeks prior to the onset of symptoms. We report the case of a 68-year-old female who was diagnosed with GBS and subsequently developed myocarditis. She was treated with inotropic support and intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG), and her condition improved. This presentation of GBS complicated by myocarditis is very rare. We examined the literature regarding this association.Entities:
