Abstract
Based on the synthesis of DNA modified with photosensitizers, direct spectroscopic measurements of the hole transfer in DNA, and quantification of the yield of the DNA oxidative damage, the reaction rate of the radical anion of the photosensitizer was demonstrated to be critically important in determining the efficiency of photosensitized DNA damage.Entities:
