New Quaternary Alkaloids from Vinca minor.

B Proksa1, D Uhrín, E Grossmann, Z Votický.

Abstract

Three new quaternary bases were separated from the most polar fraction of the crude methanolic extract of lesser periwincle ( VINCA MINOR L.) leaves. Their structures were elucidated by spectroscopic methods as 4-methylraucubainium chloride, 4-methylstrictaminium chloride, and 4-methylakuammicinium chloride.
