Three new c-methylated flavones from Elsholtzia stauntonii.

Abstract

Three new C-methylated flavones, named as muxiangrine I ( 1), muxiangrine II ( 2), muxiangrine III ( 3), were isolated along with one known flavone from ELSHOLTZIA STAUNTONII Benth (Chinese name "Muxiangru", Berberidaceae). Their structures were deduced on the basis of their spectral data.
