Abstract
Although uncommon in developed world, tuberculosis is one of the most dreaded diseases in the under-developed and developing countries. Resurgence of tuberculosis and its increasing incidence, with widespread HIV infection has lead to the reporting of infections at unusual sites. Tubercular tenosynovitis not involving bone is an extremely rare and perplexing presentation. A rare case of isolated tuberculosis of Achilles tendon without any evident primary contiguous or distant focus in a 55-year-old immunocompetent male is presented.Entities:
