Abstract
Necrotizing fasciitis due to Vibrio vulnificus may result in overwhelming sepsis, leading to death in some patients. Significant risk factors for severe disease include preexisting liver disease. We report a case of Vibrio vulnificus necrotizing fasciitis in a patient with previously undiagnosed chronic hepatitis and cirrhosis.Entities:
