Abstract
Following on the heels of the discovery that endometriosis is an epigenetic disease, we conducted a pilot study on the off-label use of valproic acid to treat adenomyosis. We found that by the end of the 3-month treatment, all three recruited patients reported complete disappearance of dysmenorrhea, with an average of one-third reduction in uterus size.Entities:
