Abstract
Intestinal malrotation is a congenital anomaly of intestinal rotation and fixation that generally becomes symptomatic at the neonatal period. Uncommonly it may occur in older children and adults, requiring imaging studies to suspect and confirm the diagnosis. In this case report an intestinal malrotation in a previously asymptomatic young adult patient with acute intestinal obstruction is described.Entities:
